Prepare the Surface – Ensure the wall is clean, dry, and free from dust before installation.
Adhesive Application (Quick Install) – Apply high-strength adhesive to the back of the panel and press firmly onto the wall for a seamless fit.
Enhanced Acoustic Performance (Recommended Install)
- Attach wooden slats to the wall with 24-inch gaps for maximum sound absorption.
- Insert acoustic insulation between the slats for improved noise reduction.
- Secure the panel by screwing 15 evenly spaced screws through the felt backing into the wooden slats.
Custom Sizing (If Needed)
- Trim the felt backing for width adjustments.
- Cut the panel for height using a fine-tooth saw for precision.
- Reattach slats if necessary, ensuring a perfect, seamless look.
- Smooth the edges for a flawless finish.

Very pleased so far. 5 boxes and quality control was excellent. Broad solid would slat natural looks great. Wood cut cleanly with a miter saw and felt cut cleanly with a sharp heavy duty ‘box cutter’. Installed easily with silicone or foam board appropriate construction adhesive along with a few drywall screws. All things considered, easy to work with and easy to achieve professional results (if you have a professional helping you!)

After researching a few different companies, we decided to go with the Hausvita panels because of the quality of the solid wood. Our project was to create a feature wall in our Master bedroom. Couldn't be happier with the results! Installed wall sconces for reading lights and it really made our wall art stand out. We ordered it as sound absorber for wall, it doesn’t really work as absorber. But it looks beautiful and works like an accent wall. We liked it so much despite not being sound proofed that we did another room!

Simply screw the panels straight into the wall, using the correct fixings, through the acoustic felt or if you are looking to increase the sound properties further, screwing them into batons. If installing on ceilings, the panels can be screwed straight into ceiling joists.

Each box contains two panels measuring 94.49"H x 12.60"W x 0.78" D with a 0.52" gap in between
here are 3 different options for installing our panels.
- Gluing straight onto the wall.
A construction glue or grab adhesive is recommended for this. - Screwing directly into the wall.
By using black screws for the black backing option or silver or grey screws for the grey-backed option the panels can be screwed directly into the wall through the acoustic felt.
We recommend a minimum of 9 screws per panel at regular intervals across the width and 800mm down the length of the panel.
If installing into ceilings then make sure they are screwed into ceiling joists.
Please make sure the correct fixings are used if going into plasterboard for example. - Screwing the panels into 45mm timber batons.
To achieve optimum sound absorption we recommend screwing 45mm timber batons to the wall and then screwing the panels directly into the batons through the acoustic felt.
If something like Rockwool is applied behind the panels and in between the batons, this will achieve Class A sound absorption.
It is straightforward to adjust the panels to fit around any object. You can cut the slats widthways with a saw, and you can cut the felt lengthways with a sharp blade to then apply around any item you may have on your surface.
You can mount the panels on all surfaces including brick, concrete and plasterboard.
You certainly can.
If installing with batons, then you can use mineral wool or other sound insulation material in-between the gaps which will increase the sound absorption properties even more.
Yes, our wood slat panels come with a natural color and finish. We recommend adding at least a clear stain to achieve a finished look but most customers install the wood panels natural right out of the box.
Our wood panels can be stained or painted to achieve your perfect color.

If ordering large quantities of panels, we ship via LTL freight where our slat panels are carefully packaged in individual carboard boxes and then put on a pallet to ensure a safe delivery.
